The Friendship Ministry at Lighthouse Church is a support group of Parents, Guardians and Caregivers for “Children with Special Needs” of all ages. Our mission is to provide support, encouragement, prayer and information that is beneficial to the participants.
God has chosen us to care for our “Children with Special Needs” and He will help and guide us in this journey we are on. Our group meets the 3rd Saturday of every month at Lighthouse Church to discuss scripture, pray for one another, share information, and provide encouragement. It is a blessing to have the fellowship of other brothers and sisters in Christ facing similar challenges.
Our group plans and schedules various activities for the families. Activities will vary depending on the group’s interests and resources. Activities may include events like birthday parties, bowling, arts & crafts, picnics, pot luck dinners, BBQ, Christmas parties etc. etc.
